The Elevation ecoSUPERFLEX Gecko is an overstable control driver made from Elevation's most flexible recycled rubber blend, designed by Elevation co-founder Austin Minnocci. It flies like a cross between a Raptor and a Firebird, with a rubber build that changes how the disc behaves on landing.

ecoSUPERFLEX is Elevation's bendiest recycled rubber, noticeably floppier in the hand than the brand's standard ecoFLEX. That flex is grippy and durable and takes tree hits without cracking, but the stamp wears down faster than on a rigid plastic, so don't expect the ink to last forever. The upside shows up on the fairway: the disc absorbs impact instead of skidding, so it drops and stays where it lands instead of skipping into the rough.

Thrown flat it turns very little and finishes with a firm, reliable fade, closer to the flight of a Firebird than a typical 9 speed. Advanced throwers use it specifically for the reduced ground play, since a control driver that stops on contact is worth more than one that skids another twenty feet into trouble. Intermediate players get the distance of a control driver without needing full power to control the fade. It is not a beginner disc, this speed and fade combination asks for a clean release, but anyone already comfortable with a 9 speed will notice the difference in how it lands.
