Discraft Z Lite Force
The Discraft Force is one of the fastest overstable fairway shapes Discraft makes, a wide rimmed distance driver built for power throwers who want maximum fade, and this run comes in lightweight Z Lite plastic.
Flight Numbers: 12 / 5 / 0 / 3
Z Lite trims weight out of standard Elite Z, which lets a disc this fast reach speed easier for players who cannot yet put full power behind a 174 gram driver. It keeps most of Z's durability and stiffness, so it resists denting on tree hits, and it grips just as well as a full weight Z despite feeling noticeably lighter in the hand.
This is a workhorse, not a finesse disc. Even ripped hard it holds a long, controlled line before fading hard left at the end, and into a headwind that heavy fade shows up early, which is exactly what you want on a punch shot through trees. It is not forgiving of a soft or rounded release, so it suits advanced players and big arms rather than beginners. Slower arms who still want a Force in the bag should look at the lightweight build here specifically, since it is easier to get up to speed than a full weight version.
