Discraft Holyn Handley ESP Vulture (Reaper Edition)
The Discraft Holyn Handley ESP Vulture Reaper Edition carries a double stamp, Holyn Handley's Tour Series mark and Reaper's flaming vortex, on an overstable control driver often described as a beat in Predator or a flatter Thunderbird with more glide. It sits in that useful gap between a fairway driver and a distance driver.
Flight Numbers: 10 / 5 / 0 / 2
ESP is durable with a bit of give in the flight plate, holding a fairly flat profile without much dome, and it feels comfortable for both backhand and forehand grips. It grips well enough to trust on a full power release and keeps its overstable character through a lot of wear.
On a flat release it holds a straight line for most of the flight before a short, hard fade closes it out, more forward penetrating than side to side. A hyzer will follow the angle you give it unless you really crank on it, and an anhyzer holds the line for a while before fighting back to center. It manages moderate headwinds well, which makes it a workhorse for straight fairway lines that need distance driver range without giving up accuracy. This is not a beginner disc, it wants intermediate to advanced power to open up, but once you have that speed it becomes one of the most dependable straight shots in the bag.
Want the standard ESP build without the swirl or double stamp? The ESP Vulture flies the same line. Need extra durability for daily rounds? The Big Z Vulture holds up longer under regular play. Browse the rest of our Vulture collection.
