The Discraft Scorch in ESP plastic is a Tour Series stamp that supports Alexis Mandujano on the DGPT, and it happens to be one of the easier distance drivers to throw far without a huge arm. It plays like a longer Avenger SS with more glide and a cleaner S-curve flight.

ESP is Discraft's grippy, premium blend, and on the Scorch it shows the flight numbers close to out of the box: flip to flat at moderate power, ride straight for most of the flight, then turn gently before fading back. It grips well in cold weather and holds up to tree hits without chunking, so it stays useful long after it beats in.

Thrown with about 80 percent power it flips over on a hyzer release, rides flat, and finishes with a soft fade. Slower arms get an honest S-shaped flight without needing to muscle it, and bigger arms get real distance out of a controlled, repeatable release.

Good for beginners chasing their first 300 foot drive and intermediate players who want an understable driver that still fades at the end instead of dumping into a roller. It is a natural next step up from a midrange for anyone still building arm speed.
