CryZtal is Discraft's translucent premium blend, closer in feel to Z than ESP: firm, glassy looking, and slower to beat in than a base plastic. It holds the -2 turn for a long time before the disc softens, so the flip you get fresh out of the package is close to the flip you still get a couple seasons later. Grip is fine in the dry and drops off in the wet, typical for a firm translucent plastic.

Thrown flat with real speed it turns over and rides on its side before fading back at the end, and on a hyzer with moderate power it flattens out and holds a long, straight glide. That 6 of glide is real, so it floats further than the speed number suggests. A slower arm gets a full flight and an easy hyzer flip through gaps in the trees, while a big arm can flatten it out for a rolling shot.
