Discraft Big Z Luna (McBeth Collab)
2
The Discraft Luna arrives here in Big Z as part of a limited Paul McBeth collab run made for Worlds, an overstable putter with low glide built to sit down and stop instead of skipping past the basket. Big Z is Discraft's stiff, translucent premium plastic, the same blend that keeps their fairway and distance drivers overstable for years.
Flight Numbers: 3 / 4 / 0 / 2
Big Z is glossy and firm out of the box, less grippy than Discraft's Special Blend or ESP putter plastics, but it holds its shape and stability far longer without breaking in soft. It takes a beating from tree hits and pavement without losing its edge, which matters on a beadless putter you plan to throw for years.
This is a low glide, straight to overstable putter more suited to confident approach putts and short upshots than long spin putts from outside the circle. Thrown flat it holds a straight line with a firm, dependable fade at the end, and it does not turn over even under real power, which is why it works as a driving putter for tight fairway placement.
Good for advanced players who already putt with confidence and want a firm, overstable option that will not flip on them, and for anyone replacing a beat-in putter that has gone too flippy. Newer players may find the low glide takes some getting used to compared to a softer plastic.
Want a grippier feel for the same mold? The ESP Luna and the Rubber Blend Luna both soften the release. Browse the rest of our overstable putters.
