Discmania S-Line MD1
4
The Discmania S-Line MD1 is the mid-priced way into this arrow-straight stable midrange, a flatter and faster take on the classic MD built to hold a line no matter how much power you put behind it.
Flight Numbers: 5 / 6 / 0 / 0
S-Line is Discmania's grippier, mid-tier premium blend, softer in the hand than C-Line and it breaks in noticeably faster, which is a real plus if you like a disc that goes understable a little sooner. It is not built for a decade of tree hits the way C-Line is, but the price reflects that, and it is a good way to try the mold before committing to a premium run.
Release it flat and it goes exactly where you point it with almost no wobble, then it settles into a short, gentle fade at the very end. On a hyzer it holds that line all the way down, and on anhyzer it pans smoothly without any risk of cutting into a roller. It will show you honestly when your release angle is off by turning more than it should, which makes it a good teaching disc as much as a bag staple.
New players get a forgiving straight flyer, and better players get a dependable ruler to judge their other midranges against.
Chasing the same flight for less? Compare it against the C-Line MD1 if you want a longer-lasting premium option, or step up to the Horizon MD1 for a grippier, more eye-catching plastic. Every version is in the Discmania MD1 collection.
