The Clash Discs Spice is an overstable distance driver made in Steady plastic, built out of a collaboration with pro Eric Oakley who wanted a driver that keeps its line even when you lean into it. Steady is Clash's grippy premium blend, translucent and stiff enough that it barely flexes in the hand. It resists torque on full power backhands and forehand rips alike, and it beats in slowly, so the overstable flight you get on day one is close to the flight you still get a year later.

On a flat release it flies like a Firebird with a little less bite out of the box, and on the ground it lands short with a lower, weaker skip instead of a long roll. Push it into a hyzer and it spikes down rather than panning out, which makes it easy to gauge on tight lines. Forehand throwers get a lot out of this one: lay it in sideways on anhyzer and it still pulls back to finish stable, exactly what you want punching through technical, wooded holes.
