Axiom Proton Soft Paradox (OTB Open) | Pre-Order
The Axiom Proton Soft Paradox (OTB Open) is an understable midrange built for the 2024 OTB Open, cast in Axiom's flexible Proton Soft blend that trades some of Proton's stiffness for extra grip and glide.
Flight Numbers: 5 / 4 / -4 / 0
Proton Soft flexes more in the hand than standard Proton or Neutron, which means it feels grippy from the first throw instead of needing a season to break in. That softer feel also lets the rim give a little on release, which helps it hold an anhyzer line longer before it starts to turn.
A -4 turn on a midrange means this disc wants to flip and run, so a smooth hyzer flip turns into a long, flat glide with almost no fade to stop it. Anhyzer releases turn into wide, sweeping lines that work well for rollers or getting around a tree on the wrong side. Lower power throwers get an easy turnover shot that does the work for them, and stronger arms get a utility disc for shaping shots most midranges cannot reach. This one ships as a pre-order in a random weight and color, though we will do our best to match a request.
