Proton Soft is a grippier version of Axiom's firm Proton blend, tacky enough for a clean release in cold or wet conditions, and it holds its stability longer than a base plastic before it starts to flip up even more. The limited stamp does not change the flight, just the look.

Slower arms throw this flat and get a laser straight line with a small fade at the very end, which makes it a good first fairway driver for someone still learning to release clean. Bigger arms use it for carving hyzer flips and natural turnover shots through gaps in the trees, since it holds an anhyzer line without much resistance. It is more of a line hitter than a distance bomber, so do not expect it to out-throw a full speed driver on a flat, open hole.
