The Axiom Cosmic Neutron Crave is a stable fairway driver, and Cosmic Neutron is the swirled, bright colored version of Axiom's stock Neutron blend. Axiom built the Crave as the first driver in its lineup, and it is still one of the straightest flying control drivers the brand makes.

Cosmic Neutron feels the same in the hand as regular Neutron: grippy, semi-premium, and durable enough to survive a season of tree hits. The bright burst coloring does not change the flight, it just makes the disc easier to find in tall grass. Like all Neutron blends it beats in slowly, so the stability you get on day one is close to what you will get a year from now.

Thrown flat the Crave holds a straight line and only eases left at the very end. On a hyzer it flips up and rides flat before settling into its fade, which is what makes it such a good teaching disc for a hyzer flip. Slower arms get a clean 250 to 300 foot drive out of it without much effort, and it has taught more than one player their first slow hyzer flip into a late turn shot. Big arms can put full power on it and it will not turn over, so it works as a control driver even in an advanced thrower's hands.
