The Westside Discs VIP Ice Orbit Bear is a stable fairway driver with Westside's Orbit ring effect running through clear VIP Ice plastic, and it plays as the bigger, more overstable sibling to the Stag. This is an 8 speed control driver built to hold a line in real wind.

VIP Ice is firmer and glassier than standard VIP, with the Orbit effect adding a visible ring pattern that shows off under light. It is durable enough to handle serious mileage, and most Bears run flatter out of the box than the older domed proto runs, which keeps the disc a bit more predictable through the flight.

Thrown flat and hard it drifts right through the high speed portion before easing left with a gentle, reliable finish, similar in shape to a Teebird but with more glide. On hyzer it wants to flip up and ride before settling flat again, and it takes forehand torque well without turning over early. It held a 300 foot line through a 20 mph crosswind in my own rounds. Beginners get an overstable fairway option that is not as punishing as a Firebird, while intermediate and advanced throwers use it as a control driver on tighter, technical fairways.
