Prodigy 200 M4
The Prodigy 200 M4 is a stable midrange molded in Prodigy's 200 series, the softest and most affordable plastic in the line. Prodigy builds the M4 with Easy Release Technology, and the flight holds whatever line you put it on, flat, hyzer, or anhyzer, better than almost any other midrange at this price.
Flight Numbers: 5 / 5 / -1 / 1
200 plastic is Prodigy's base line blend: supple, grippy straight out of the wrapper, and easy on the hand for players still building callouses. It will not hold up to a season of tree hits the way 400G or 750 will, but that softness is exactly what makes the release forgiving while you learn to read a flat throw versus a hyzer flip.
Thrown flat it flies straight with a gentle turn before finishing with a light fade, and it holds a tunnel shot through the woods about as well as any midrange Prodigy makes. On an anhyzer it glides out and settles instead of burning through the line, which is what makes it a favorite for turnover shots around a dogleg.
This is the disc for a beginner buying their first midrange, or an intermediate player who wants a cheap practice copy of a mold they already trust in a premium plastic. Best shot: a controlled approach where you need distance without much fade at the end.
