Shimmer Star flies and grips like regular Star plastic, just with visible flakes mixed through it for a brighter look in the sun. It is grippy right out of the bag, breaks in at a normal pace, and gives a clean, confident release for both backhand and forehand throws.

Thrown flat, it carries a small amount of turn before settling into a long, straight flight and finishing with a dependable, moderate fade instead of a hard dump. On a hyzer it resists turning over, which is what makes it useful in a headwind. It is fast enough to reward real arm speed but forgiving enough that intermediate players moving past 300 feet get real value out of it too.

Good for players stepping up into max distance drivers for the first time, and for anyone who wants a dependable, all conditions distance driver that will not flip on them under pressure. A great forehand flex shot disc as well.
