Discraft Z Swirl Zeus (Ledgestone)
1
The Discraft Zeus in Z Swirl plastic is Paul McBeth's overstable distance driver from the Ledgestone Open, carrying the same 12, 5, -1, 3 flight that put this disc in the same class as an Innova Destroyer.
Flight Numbers: 12 / 5 / -1 / 3
Z Swirl runs Discraft's durable Elite Z blend with a marbled color pattern, so no two discs match while the grip and long-term stability stay exactly what standard Z Line delivers. It holds this overstable flight for years without turning neutral.
At real power it flies flat for a long stretch with a fairly wide 2.3 cm rim that works for forehand and backhand alike, then finishes with a strong, dependable fade. On a hyzer it holds the line and does not drift off target the way a less overstable driver would in the same wind. Power throwers get the most distance out of it, and it is not a disc I would put in a beginner's hands while they are still learning a clean release.
