Discraft Buzzz (CryZtal)
The Discraft Buzzz in CryZtal is the plain-stamp version of the most popular midrange in disc golf, in Discraft's clear, glassy plastic. It goes where you point it.
Flight Numbers: 5 / 4 / -1 / 1
CryZtal is Discraft's clear, translucent premium blend. It is a stiff, very durable variant of Z plastic with a bit more grip. It also shows off color well, since you can see through the plate. The Orange and Pink here are bright against the clear.
Thrown flat it stays flat, then eases left at the end. On a hyzer it holds the hyzer. Into a headwind it does not turn over, and on a tailwind it will hold a little turn for a long glide. It is the disc that shows you what a clean release looks like, because the Buzzz does not hide a mistake. It works for a straight drive, a forehand, or an approach.
It fits anyone. Beginners learn a clean release and experienced players use it as the ruler for every other midrange.
Prefer the standard Discraft premium blend? The Discraft Z Buzzz is the classic choice. Want a different feel? Try the Discraft ESP Buzzz. Want an overstable version? The Discraft Z Buzzz OS is close. See the full Buzzz collection or browse midrange discs.
