Discraft Aaron Gossage ESP Raptor (Reaper Edition)
2
The Discraft Aaron Gossage ESP Raptor, Reaper Edition, pairs Aaron Gossage's Tour Series stamp on the bottom with our flame vortex stamp on top. It is a flat topped, overstable fairway driver built to slice through wind rather than fight it.
Flight Numbers: 9 / 4 / 0 / 3
ESP is Discraft's grippy premium blend, holding its grip in cold and wet conditions better than the base Pro-D line, with color swirls that keep every disc looking a little different. It is not the toughest plastic Discraft makes, but it beats in gradually rather than all at once, so the flight stays close to true for a long stretch.
Out of the box it flies true to its numbers, and at speed 9 it does not take a huge amount of arm speed to get it up and flying, so amateurs and advanced players with decent power both get real use out of it. Forehand throwers describe putting it on an extreme anhyzer and having it fight back to true every time, opening up shots other discs cannot make. Not the best fit for total beginners, since it will get away from a slow, weak release, but a strong pick for anyone who already throws a fairway driver comfortably.
