The Axiom Eclipse Glow Tempo is an overstable putter that came out of the 2023 MVP Open as a limited release, and it has stuck around as one of Axiom's better approach putters. Tempo is a low profile mold with a shallow rim, and Eclipse Glow means it lights up under a blacklight or even regular light for hours after dark.

Eclipse Glow has the same firm, slightly slick feel as Axiom's standard glow blend, and it takes a charge fast: a minute or two of direct light and it holds a bright glow well into a night round. It is not the tackiest plastic in the Axiom line, but the flat top and shallow rim make up for it, and the glow does not fade with wear the way the flight can settle over time.

Thrown flat the Tempo goes straight with a pushing fade rather than a hard dump, and it does not flip over on hard forehand flicks the way some shallow putters do. It is not quite as overstable as a Zone at the same weight, so backhand throwers get a bit more distance out of it before the fade sets in. It works well as a sidearm approach putter for players learning to shape a flick line, and beginners get a forgiving straight flight at lower power.
