Westside Discs Moonshine Orbit Glow Harp (Matt Orum)
2
The Westside Harp lands here in Matt Orum's tour stamp Moonshine Orbit glow run, a very overstable putt and approach disc with a flat top that refuses to turn over. Moonshine Orbit is Westside's premium glow blend, and this batch carries his signature yellow stamp.
Flight Numbers: 4 / 3 / 0 / 3
Moonshine Orbit is grippy and firm, glows well after a few minutes under a flashlight or the sun, and holds its charge long enough for a full night round. It is stiffer than Westside's softer BT blends, so it keeps its overstable shape for years instead of beating in fast, and it takes tree hits and cart path skips without chunking.
This is not a putter you spin from 30 feet, it is an approach disc. Thrown flat it goes dead straight before diving into a hard fade at the very end, and on a hyzer it holds that line and drops right where you aim it. It does not skip much once it lands, which makes it reliable for tight pin placements. Forehand throwers get a comfortable release, and it handles a headwind better than most because it will not turn over no matter how much power you put on it.
Best for intermediate and advanced players who need something overstable for upshots inside 200 feet, night rounds, or big hyzer approaches around trees. A newer player with a slower arm will find it too much disc for putting, but it still shines as a wind fighter.
