Lone Star Discs Lima BB6
The Lone Star Discs Lima BB6 is an understable midrange with a small diameter and a shallow, beadless feel that makes hyzer flips almost automatic. It fills the gap left by classic small midranges that never got made in modern premium plastic.
Flight Numbers: 4 / 5 / -2 / 1
Lima is a softer, grippier blend than Lone Star's Bravo line, and it feels great in cold weather when firmer plastics get slick. It beats in gently and keeps its turn rather than going dead straight, so it stays a useful turnover option even after a season of play.
Thrown flat this disc turns over easily and glides a long way before a light fade, and on a hyzer release it flips up to flat and rides straight to the target. Power throwers get a pronounced turn out of it, while a natural hyzer release keeps it tame and controllable.
This is a great first midrange for a new player because it will turn over and finish gently instead of punishing a bad release, and slower arms get real distance out of it. Anyone who wants a smaller diameter mid than the standard workhorse size should give it a look.
