The Discraft X Heat is an understable control driver built for hyzer flips and long turnover shots rather than raw power. X Line is Discraft's budget friendly plastic, and on the Heat it keeps the price low without giving up the disc's signature glide.

X Line plastic is not the most durable blend Discraft makes and will show wear faster than ESP or Z after a season of tree hits, but it grips well enough for a clean release in most weather and costs less than a premium plastic replacement. Hyzer flip it and the Heat flattens out into a long, gentle S line that carries well past what a beginner's arm speed usually reaches. Thrown flat it turns over quickly and holds a long turnover line, which makes it a strong tailwind disc and a forgiving first distance driver.
