The Prodigy Air D1 is an overstable distance driver poured in Prodigy's lightweight Air blend, built to fly like the standard D1 while weighing less in your hand.

Air plastic is lower density than Prodigy's standard grades, so a lighter disc still carries the momentum and flex of a heavier 400 or 500 run. It has a bit more flex than base plastic and holds up fine to regular use, though it will not outlast 750 plastic in tree-heavy courses.

The thick 2.3 centimeter rim is fast but not maximum width, and this is not a full meathook, just a dependable overstable driver. Thrown with power it handles headwinds, forehand releases, and strategic doglegs without flipping over. Compared to a standard D1, the Air version tends to feel a little less overstable and offer more glide, which adds a bit of extra launch distance.

Good for players who want the D1 flight without the extra grams, and forehand throwers in particular benefit from a bit less weight to snap through the release. Not a disc for a slow arm, it needs real speed to show its overstability.
