The Innova Champion TL3 is the flattened, faster sibling of the original TL, built for the same TeeBird-style control with a slightly straighter finish. Champion plastic gives it the stiff, durable base that holds that flight the longest.

Champion is Innova's toughest widely available blend. It resists chunking on tree strikes and keeps its shape through hundreds of rounds, though the trade off is less initial grip than Star or Halo Star, especially in cold or wet conditions. A fresh Champion TL3 needs a confident release to avoid a little unwanted turn, but once it settles in it becomes one of the straighter flying fairway drivers in the Innova line.

On a flat release it carries with a small amount of high speed turn before straightening and finishing with a light fade, useful for tight tunnel shots where you cannot afford drift. It can play a touch more understable than the older TL out of the box, so throwing it on a slight hyzer keeps it dead straight until the very end.

Good for a player who already owns a TeeBird or Leopard and wants something flatter and more predictable in the wind. Beginners can throw it too, though it rewards a clean release more than a total beginner disc would.
