The Discraft Z Heat is an understable distance driver built in Discraft's tough, vibrant Z plastic. It is the Ace Race mold that gave a generation of players their first real turnover shot, and it still holds up as a go-to understable option.

Z plastic is extremely durable and holds its color and stability for years, closer in feel to Innova's Champion line than to Discraft's softer ESP blend. Switching to it from Innova plastics feels slightly different but familiar, taking a few throws to adjust to the narrower lip before the flight clicks into place.

Intermediate and advanced players can hyzer flip this disc with ease or hold an anhyzer line until the very end of the flight, and the high glide and turn numbers mean it keeps carrying long after slower discs would fade out. If your misses are usually short, the Heat's turnover shape is built to add real distance without adding more power to your release.
