Discraft Z FLX Zone (Adam Hammes Tour Series)
The Discraft Zone in Z FLX plastic carries Adam Hammes's 2024 Tour Series stamp on the overstable putter that shows up in more pro bags than almost any other approach disc, including Paul McBeth's.
Flight Numbers: 4 / 3 / 0 / 3
Z FLX softens Elite Z's usual stiffness while keeping its long-term stability, so the Zone grips well on a flick putt without losing the fade that makes it useful in the first place. It holds up to years of chain contact and does not go soft the way base plastic putters do after a season.
On a flat backhand release with real power, the Zone carries straight for a stretch before finishing with a strong, forward fade. On a hyzer it holds that line the whole way and lands soft for a disc this overstable. The thick rim gives forehand throwers something to grip on a flick putt, and the fade handles the torque a sidearm release puts on it without turning over. Advanced players lean on it for headwind approaches and any shot where a flippier putter would sail long.
Need a putter that shrugs off wind? The ESP Zone gives the same overstable finish with a softer grip. Want a heavier, even more durable version? The Titanium Zone holds its fade the longest. Browse the whole Zone collection.
