Discraft Z FLX Vulture (Holyn Handley Tour Series)
The Discraft Vulture in Z FLX plastic wears Holyn Handley's 2024 Tour Series stamp on a speed 10 overstable control driver that flies like a straighter, easier Predator with real glide.
Flight Numbers: 10 / 5 / 0 / 2
Z FLX blends Elite Z's toughness with extra flex, so the disc feels softer in hand than a standard Z Line Vulture while keeping the same long-term stability. It holds up to repeated tree contact and does not chalk up or lose grip after a season of wear.
Thrown flat it carries speed and glide well past 300 feet before a smooth, controlled fade brings it home, and on a hyzer it holds that line without dumping out early. I throw it often on holes in the 320 to 360 foot range where I want more control than a Thunderbird gives up but do not want a driver that only goes one direction. It is not flashy and it will not win a distance contest, but it is one of the more underrated overstable fairway drivers in the Discraft line for exactly that reason.
Looking for more glide in an overstable driver? The ESP Vulture Reaper Edition shares the same numbers with a grippier feel. Want the base plastic version? The ESP Vulture flies the same at a lower price. See the full Vulture collection.
