Discraft Putter Line Magnet
The Discraft Putter Line Magnet is Discraft's flagship putter, a shorter than average mold with a narrow rim that is attracted to metal chains for a reason. It is a straight to slightly understable putter built to be as forgiving as it is reliable.
Flight Numbers: 2 / 3 / -1 / 1
Putter Line plastic is Discraft's budget friendly blend, grippier than it has any right to be at this price, with a stiffer bead and slightly domed top that suits a wide range of grips. It is not the most durable plastic in the lineup, but the grip advantage more than makes up for it in the circle.
At longer distances it runs a touch understable and can hold a gentle anhyzer line, while up close it flies dead straight and rarely dumps left the way more overstable putters do on a beginner's release. It's a great disc to teach a beginner to throw with, since it does not punish an early release the way stiffer discs do. It does not go far compared to a driving putter, so treat it as a circle and short approach specialist rather than an all around disc.
