MVP Neutron Uplink
6
The MVP Uplink in Neutron plastic is a very understable midrange built to turn hard the moment you give it any speed. MVP designed it as the beginner-friendly counterpart to the Paradox, understable enough to bend around trouble but not quite as wild.
Flight Numbers: 5 / 5 / -3 / 0.5
Neutron is MVP’s standard durable plastic, opaque and grippy, and it takes real wear before the Uplink’s already loose turn gets any looser. It survives tree hits fine, though this is a disc you throw for the flight, not the durability, since the whole point is that early turn.
Thrown flat or with any anhyzer it turns over and holds that turnover line for most of the flight, useful for tunnel shots and getting out of the woods on a tight line. It needs a fair amount of hyzer before it will fly straight instead of turning, and with the right arm speed it hyzer flips cleanly. It is a great first understable midrange for a newer player, and one of the easier discs in the bag for learning how to throw a roller.
