Plasma has a soft, tacky feel from the first throw and a swirled finish that stands out in the bag. It holds grip well in wet weather, which matters on a control driver you are throwing on tight, technical holes where a slip means a lost line. The stability softens gradually with wear rather than all at once.

It flies flatter and carries further than the low speed number suggests, in my experience it throws about as far as a driver two speeds faster. Set it on a slight hyzer and it flips and holds a strong turnover line, which makes it a good hyzer flip disc for tight fairways. New players get an easy, controllable driver, and intermediate players use it as the disc they replace a beat in favorite with when they want the same accuracy in a fresh mold.
