Discraft ESP Swirl Pulse (Ledgestone)
The Discraft Pulse in ESP Swirl plastic is a very overstable distance driver built for players with real snap in their release. The low, thin-nosed profile is unusual for a driver this fast, and it is a large part of why the Pulse handles wind better than most 11 speeds.
Flight Numbers: 11 / 4 / 0 / 3
ESP Swirl mixes Discraft's grippy premium plastic with a marbled color run, so no two discs in this batch match, and the grip is identical to standard ESP. It holds onto its overstable flight for a long time and takes tree hits without much wear, thanks to the low profile that sheds impact instead of absorbing it.
Thrown flat with real power it cuts straight through a headwind and finishes with a hard, dependable fade, the kind of flight that makes it a go-to on gusty days. Forehand throwers get an easy release off the small thumb track, and power throwers use it for pinpoint hyzers where a bigger-rimmed driver would drift.
Good for advanced players and forehand-dominant throwers with the arm speed to get an 11 speed up in the air. Slower arms tend to find it too overstable to work with, better as a specialty wind disc than an everyday driver until your speed catches up.
