Kastaplast K1 Guld
2
The Kastaplast K1 Guld is the disc I recommend to anyone stuck between a Nuke and a Destroyer, more wind resistant than the Nuke, more distance than the Destroyer, splitting the difference in flight instead of just on paper.
Flight Numbers: 13 / 5 / -0.5 / 3
K1 is Kastaplast's grippy, durable premium blend, and it dyes well if you want a custom look down the line. The rim runs narrower than most 13 speed discs at 2.3 cm, easier to get a full grip on than wider max width drivers like the Nuke or Boss.
Thrown flat it slides right a touch before settling into a strong, dependable fade, and it handles torque well enough to become a favorite forehand bomber for anyone chasing more control on power shots. Backhand throwers without top end speed still get a full, gliding flight out of it, and in a headwind it holds its line noticeably better than lighter, flippier 13 speeds. It's the disc to reach for when a fast driver still needs to fade hard and finish left instead of floating on forever.
Want the same flight in a plastic that glows? The K1 Glow Guld is built for night rounds. Looking for a more forgiving overstable driver at the same speed? The Innova GStar Destroyer is the usual comparison. Browse our overstable distance drivers.
