The Innova GStar Shryke (Reaper Edition) is a 13 speed distance driver that flies noticeably more stable than that speed rating suggests, made in Innova's flexible, grippy GStar blend. It is the driver Innova built to replace the Tern with more speed and more staying power at high power.

GStar holds its grip in cold weather better than Champion or Star, and it takes a while to beat in, so the mild high speed turn you get fresh out of the wrapper sticks around for a long time before the disc gets flippier. The rim profile sits well in the hand for both backhand and forehand, without the huge dome some 13 speed drivers carry.

Thrown with real power it turns into a smooth glide phase that carries a long way before settling into a manageable low speed fade, which keeps it on the fairway instead of hooking hard left. It does not show much turn until you are already throwing 350 feet or more, so slower arms will see a straighter, shorter flight rather than the big S curve advanced throwers get. Intermediate and advanced players use it as a workhorse distance driver on open, flat holes.
