Dynamic Discs began in March 2005 as the brainchild of Jeremy Rusco. As a college student at Emporia State University in Kansas, he started buying and dyeing discs, then flipping them on eBay for a small profit.

What began as selling one disc a week started to grow and multiply to include gear. Eventually, Jeremy and his wife Wendy formed Dynamic Discs (with a few friends to help with the orders.)

Local touring professional and eventual 2010 World Champion Eric McCabe got involved with Dynamic Discs as its first sponsored player (and joint logo creator) and helped grow Dynamic Discs in its infancy with various disc golf events in the Midwest and recruiting other players to sponsor.

Dynamic Discs continued to expand its presence out of Emporia to include several retail stores in the US and a partnership with Latitude 64 in Sweden and Westside Discs.

Dynamic Disc's golf discs are produced at Latitude 64's manufacturing facility in northern Sweden. The partnership between Dynamic Discs, Lat 64, and Westside Discs is referred to as 'Trilogy.' All three of these plastic lines may have different names but will be the same plastic blend; here's a quick overview (with initialed names for brevity).

DD Prime/Prime Burst, L64 Retro/Retro Burst, WD Origio/Origio Burst: This plastic line is the most wallet-friendly and offers excellent grip in all weather conditions. It's a softer plastic that will beat in relatively quickly and is a perfect choice for beginners.

DD Classic/Blend/Soft/SuperSoft, L64 Zero Hard/Medium/Soft/MegaSoft, WD BT Hard/Medium/Soft/Megasoft: These plastic blends are preferred for putters and midranges. It will beat in more slowly than the baseline plastic used in Prime/Retro/Origio and strikes a nice balance between flippy and firm when it comes to feel.

The Super and Megasoft variants have phenomenal impact absorption and are an excellent choice for players who love soft discs.

DD BioFuzion, L64 Reprocessed, WD Recycled: An eco-friendly plastic line, this blend is created from repurposed premium plastic discs. This plastic tends to wear in slightly faster than the premium plastic discs. It will be less overstable than their premium counterparts.

DD Lucid, L64 Opto, WD VIP: These lines are considered premium plastics due to their combination of grippy feel and durability. A popular choice for distance drivers, midranges, and driving putters, these gorgeous and translucent plastics will hold their flight characteristics for longer. There are also two variants of the DD Lucid, L64 Opto, and WD VIP line:

Moonshine: Has glow-in-the-dark additives for nighttime play and is more overstable than its daytime counterpart.

Air: Made with microbubbles at the top of the disc and middle of the rim for lighter weighted discs, and therefore will be slightly less stable in the wind.

DD Fuzion, L64 Gold, WD Tournament: These premium plastics have similar durability to Lucid, Opto, and VIP blends but are opaque instead of translucent. This line of plastic also offers players a different grip feel. DD's popular DyeMax discs utilize Fuzion.

DD Fluid, L64 Frost Line, WD Elasto: This transparent plastic blend offers players maximum flexibility for cold weather play. It has a sticky, grippy feel and maintains its shape regardless of hot or cold temperatures.

Popular discs from the Dynamic Discs lineup include putters such as the Judge and Warden, midranges like the EMAC Truth and Verdict, fairway drivers like the Felon, and distance drivers like the Trespass and the Enforcer.

A few current professionals that rep Dynamic Discs include Eric McCabe, Ricky Wysocki, Chris Clemons, Kona Panis, and Paige Shue, just to name a few.

Today, Dynamic Discs maintains its brand with great discs, player-focused tutorials and guides, and a wide range of bags, backpacks, baskets, apparel, and accessories. If you've got a ton of gear to haul around, they even have carts for sale on their website!
