Aura is a solid, opaque plastic rather than the clear look of Ethos, and it is built for grip first. It feels tacky in the hand even in cold or damp conditions, and it holds up to years of tree strikes before it starts flying noticeably different from new.

At a manageable 7 speed it holds a straight line with a dependable fade at the finish, which makes it useful for players who do not have the arm speed for a full 10 or 12 speed driver but still want distance. On a hyzer it stays put rather than flipping up.

Good for intermediate players building out a driver rotation and for advanced players who want a controlled option for tighter fairways. It is not the disc for a beginner's first bag, since the overstable fade needs a bit of speed to fully open up.
