400 plastic is Prodigy's standard grippy, durable grade, softer and flippier out of the box than 500, and it grips well in cold weather when a firmer plastic might slip.

It works as a workhorse in tight, wooded fairways, carving lines other drivers cannot fit through, and it delivers max distance hyzerflips on open courses with low wind. A steep hyzer at full power flips up to flat with a smooth S curve for max distance, a slight hyzer at partial power goes dead straight, and the same release thrown flat will gradually turn. It also makes a fine roller off an anhyzer release, and it is a great disc for learning angle control and release speed together.

Beginners and lower arm speed players get real distance without needing much power, and higher speed arms can use the same disc for hyzerflip turnovers and long rollers when they want them.
