Prodigy Air D2 Pro
The Prodigy Air D2 Pro is a very overstable distance driver cut in Prodigy's lightweight Air blend, the same D2 Pro profile as the standard runs but built from less material. Prodigy uses the D2 Pro to crank the D2 Max shape into something built for hard fade rather than raw glide.
Flight Numbers: 12 / 5 / -1 / 3
Air plastic trims weight without changing the mold, so the D2 Pro keeps its overstable flight but takes less arm speed to get moving on a disc this fast. It will not survive a rock garden like the heavier 500 runs, but for a player who struggles to reach full speed on a 12 speed driver, the lighter weight is the whole point.
Thrown flat with power this goes straight with almost no turn and a strong, beefy fade, holding its line even into a headwind instead of flipping over. It fights out of an anhyzer quickly, so this is not a shaped flex shot disc, though it will glide a little further as it breaks in.
Built for a big arm chasing distance off the tee, and for anyone who needs a reliable wind fighter on an exposed hole. A slower arm feels it as mostly straight with no turn, since it takes real speed to unlock the glide. Best shot: a headwind drive where the fade holds the line.
