The Lone Star Alpha Frio is a neutral, straight-flying fairway driver in Lone Star's firm Alpha plastic, close in feel to Discraft's ESP.

Alpha is Lone Star's premium blend: firm, grippy, and durable enough to take a tree hit without chunking. It holds its flight for a long time before beating in, so the neutral line you get out of the box does not shift much over a season.

Thrown flat it flies dead straight for most of the distance with only a small amount of turn before a light fade closes it out, which is what makes it a favorite for players moving up from a Lat64 River or a similarly flippy driver as their arm speed grows. It handles a hyzer line well too, holding the angle instead of flipping out early.

New and intermediate players get a fairway driver that will not turn over on them even with a bit of extra speed behind it, and it is a solid pick for tunnel shots through the woods where a straight, predictable flight matters more than raw distance.
