The Innova Star Shryke is a stable distance driver that flies noticeably more locked in than its hype as a tailwind bomber suggests. Star plastic gives it Innova's usual grip and long term durability, and it's a 13 speed that a moderate arm can actually control.

Star holds up to tree hits and pavement skips without chunking, and it stays grippy through a full sweaty round. It's a domier disc in the hand than a lot of 13 speeds, with a substantial but not oversized rim that works for backhand and forehand alike. It doesn't beat in fast, so the numbers you throw on day one are close to what you'll get after a season of rounds.

I don't find it nearly as flippy as the release hype implied, it flies closer to the box numbers than most 13 speed drivers manage. Thrown flat with decent power it turns modestly and glides a long way before a gentle fade brings it home, and once you find the release angle it becomes a workable hyzer flip machine for wide open holes.

Intermediate players without max arm speed get real, usable distance from it, more than most other 13 speeds allow, and it becomes a go-to once you learn its release window. Beginners can throw it, but expect an early fade until your speed builds up.
