The Innova Alien in Star plastic, stamped Reaper Edition, is the premium version of Innova's oddest shaped putter, a UFO-topped disc with a thumb track that feels more like a Sonic on top and a Roc on the bottom.

Star is Innova's flagship blend, translucent and slick when it is new, and it beats in more slowly than DX while holding its grip through cold rounds. The extra flex compared to base line plastic makes it noticeably more comfortable in the hand.

It flies fairly overstable out of the box no matter what angle you release it on, then mellows to the stable numbers on the label after a few weeks of use. Straight is the word for this disc: little fade, not much glide, and a full flight almost every time you throw it clean. Forehand dominant throwers get a lot out of how comfortable the shape sits in the hand on release. It is not the disc for anyone chasing distance out of a putter, but as an accurate straight approach option it holds up.
