Innova Champion Glow Leopard3
3
The Innova Champion Glow Leopard3 is an understable fairway driver, the faster, flatter cousin of the original Leopard. Where the Leopard glides out long and soft, the Leopard3 turns over quicker and holds a controllable line the moment you release it.
Flight Numbers: 7 / 5 / -2 / 1
Champion Glow is fairly rigid when it's new, more so than a standard Champion Leopard3, and it loosens up gradually as it wears in, gaining a little flex and grip over time. It has a small, easy rim to grip, which is part of why beginners take to it so quickly. Expect some variance disc to disc since Innova molds show more run-to-run difference on the Leopard3 than on some of their older shapes.
Thrown with a smooth release it flies laser straight for most of the flight before a light finishing fade. Add power and it turns hard, flipping into anhyzer territory before it fights back at the end, which makes it a strong hyzer flip and turnover disc for tighter lines. New players get a controllable driver that doesn't demand much arm speed to open up, while stronger throwers use it specifically for turnover shots and rollers. It's a good pick for anyone who found their usual fairway driver, like a TeeBird, too stable for tight, technical holes.
