Elevation ecoFLOP Interceptor
The Elevation Interceptor in ecoFLOP plastic is an overstable approach midrange made from soft rubber instead of standard disc plastic. Elevation blends in up to 30 percent recycled material from old tires to make it, so every disc grips a little differently. It is built to land and stay exactly where it lands, which is the whole job of an approach disc.
Flight Numbers: 5 / 4 / -1 / 2
ecoFLOP is genuinely floppy, more flexible than almost anything else in a disc golf bag, and that flex is what kills the roll on landing. It takes a round or two to get used to the grip since the rubber feels nothing like Champion or ESP, but once your hand adapts it becomes one of the grippiest discs you own. Because it is made from recycled material, stability can shift a little run to run, so do not expect two Interceptors to feel identical.
Thrown at approach speed it flies flat, fades hard, and drops instead of skipping forward, which is the reason people keep one in the bag just for upshots. It gets nose down easily if you push putt it, so this is a disc for spin releases and hyzer approaches rather than a full power backhand. Intermediate and advanced players use it as a hyzer putter and layup disc more than a primary throwing midrange, and it earns a spot on tight, wooded upshots where a normal midrange would roll away.
Want a softer landing near the basket? The original OG Interceptor has even more flex for maximum stick. Prefer a firmer plastic on the same mold? The ecoFLEX Interceptor splits the difference. See every version in the Interceptor collection.
