Divergent Discs Narwhal (Max Grip Glow)
The Divergent Discs Narwhal in Max Grip Glow is an understable putt and approach disc with a neutral, beadless rim built for short, controlled shots rather than raw distance.
Flight Numbers: 3 / 3 / -2 / 0.5
Max Grip Glow uses the same soft, tacky base as the standard Max Grip line with a glow charge mixed in, so it holds a dim light after dark on top of the usual easy grip in cold or wet rounds. It beats in fast, which pushes an already understable putter toward flippy sooner than a firmer plastic would.
At putting distance it flies flat and drops with very little glide, closer to a straight putt than a turnover shot, and on a longer approach it will turn over gently instead of fading, unusual for a putter and useful when you need a disc to finish flat instead of hooking left. A beginner gets an easy, predictable putt out of it, and it works as an upshot option for anyone whose release already tends to finish on the fade side.
Want the same mold without the glow additive? The Divergent Discs Glow Narwhal flies the same flight. Want a putter that fades hard instead of turning over? The overstable Kastaplast K1 Berg is the opposite end of the shelf. Browse our glow discs.
