Discraft Z Lite Heat
1
The Discraft Heat in Z Lite plastic is a speed 9 understable control driver built as Discraft's 2014 Ace Race disc, one of the easiest ways to add real distance to a beginner's bag.
Flight Numbers: 9 / 6 / -3 / 1
Z Lite trims the weight down from standard Elite Z, which makes the disc easier to get moving for slower arm speeds without giving up Z Line's grip or long-term durability. It is a good match for a mold that already wants to turn over and glide.
Thrown flat this disc turns over easily and carries a long way on glide alone before a light fade closes out the flight, which is exactly the shot that gets new players their first 300 foot drive. Bigger arms will find it too eager to flip over for a workhorse driver and are better off saving it for tailwind holes and turnover shots. I keep one in my own bag specifically for long, open lines where I want distance without much fade at the landing spot.
Want the same flight with more grip? The ESP FLX Heat is a softer, flexier option in the same numbers. Need more durability for a heavier build? The Titanium Heat is Discraft's toughest run of the mold. Browse the rest of the Heat collection.
