Discraft Valerie Mandujano ESP Scorch (Reaper Edition)
The Discraft Scorch in ESP plastic is an understable distance driver built for an easy S curve flight, and this Reaper Edition run carries Valerie Mandujano's Tour Series stamp on the bottom with our own flaming vortex on top.
Flight Numbers: 11 / 6 / -2 / 2
ESP is Discraft's grippy, semi translucent premium blend, softer and tackier in the hand than Z, and it takes a long time to beat in. A fresh ESP Scorch turns hard right on a full power throw, and that turn stays available for a long time before the disc settles into something straighter.
Rip it flat and it turns over early, holds that turnover through most of the flight, and finishes with a moderate fade back to center, the S curve the mold is named for. Hyzer flip it and it will flatten out and carry, which is the shot beginners lean on most for easy distance. Slower arms get real turn and distance without needing much power, while big arms can flatten the release for a long, controlled drive. It is one of the more forgiving 11 speed drivers to throw.
Want the same S curve with more grip in cold weather? Compare it with the Discraft Z Scorch for a stiffer, glidier feel. Prefer Valerie's stamp without the extra Reaper design? The Discraft Scorch (Valerie Mandujano Tour Series) flies the same. Shop our Scorch collection.
