Discraft UV Glow Meteor (Ledgestone)
This Ledgestone Discraft UV Glow Meteor is an understable midrange built for night rounds, with a glow core that charges under UV light and the Ledgestone event stamp on top.
Flight Numbers: 5 / 5 / -3 / 1
The glow plastic here has a softer, waxier feel than standard ESP or Z and takes a UV flashlight charge well, holding a visible glow for a good chunk of a round after dark. It grips fine in the cold, and while it will not hold an edge quite as long as Z, it beats in at a manageable pace so the turnover flight you buy is close to the flight you keep.
Thrown flat with a right handed backhand it holds a controlled turn most of the way before a light fade at the end, which makes it a strong choice for a hyzer flip that needs to open up and run. Slower arms and newer players get real distance and control out of this mold because the turn does the work for you, and it doubles as a forehand approach disc for anyone who wants a turnover option after dark.
Want the same mold without the glow, for daytime rounds? The ESP Meteor holds its line a touch longer. Need more stability out of the same speed class? The Z Meteor fades a little harder. Browse the rest of our understable midranges and our glow discs.
