Discraft Recycled ESP Meteor
The Discraft Meteor in Recycled ESP plastic is an understable mid-range built from reclaimed Discraft material, made for players who want a turnover mid without new plastic every time. If you throw right-handed backhand and need a disc that drifts right and keeps going, this is the one to grab.
Flight Numbers: 5 / 5 / -3 / 1
Recycled ESP feels just as tacky and grippy as virgin ESP, with a bit more color variation since the recycled stock changes batch to batch. The rim is fully rounded and beadless, which makes the grip slick until you find a confident hold, but that same rounded rim is part of why the Meteor glides as far as it does.
Thrown flat with good power it turns and glides without fading back much, easily covering 320 to 340 feet for players with decent mid-range distance already. On a hyzer flip it flattens out and rides the turn for a long, easy flight. It is not the best forehand disc because of the dome, but on a backhand it is one of the longer flying mids you will throw.
Good for beginners who need a turnover midrange that goes straight and far with little effort, and for intermediate players who want a reliable long-distance mid for open holes.
Want the same flight in standard, non-recycled ESP? The ESP Meteor covers that. Need a firmer plastic for everyday rounds? The Z Meteor holds up longer. Browse our understable midrange discs.
