Discraft ESP Nuke OS
The Discraft Nuke OS in ESP plastic is the extra overstable version of the standard Nuke, built for players with fast arms who want a meat hook they can trust in any wind. Discraft kept the same enormous 2.5 cm rim, but tuned the mold to finish with a much sharper fade.
Flight Numbers: 13 / 4 / 0 / 4
ESP holds its grip in wet and cold conditions and stays tacky for a long time before it needs to break in at all. On a disc this overstable that slow beat in is a good thing, since the fade stays sharp and predictable long after a softer plastic would have started to ease up.
Thrown flat or on a hard anhyzer it holds that line and slams into its fade rather than flipping over, which makes it a go to for short sidearm flex shots and forced hyzers around an obstacle. It is not forgiving of a slow arm. A new player or anyone without real power will feel this disc fade out early and lose most of its distance, so it works best as a specialty utility disc rather than an everyday driver.
Not quite ready for something this overstable? The Discraft ESP Nuke is the same rim with a more forgiving flight. Prefer a firmer plastic on the same shape? The Discraft Z Nuke OS is worth a look. Browse more in our Nuke OS collection.
