Discraft ESP Glo Nuke (Ledgestone)
3
The Discraft ESP Glo Nuke is a fast, overstable distance driver with an ultra-thick rim, cast in a glow version of ESP from the Ledgestone release for anyone who plays into the evening.
Flight Numbers: 13 / 5 / -1 / 3
Glo ESP charges up under any light source and holds its glow through a full evening round, and it keeps the same tacky, grippy feel as standard ESP. It beats in at a normal ESP pace, so the flight stays close to true for a long time.
You need real arm speed to get the most out of this one: with less power it can feel like a meathook, but once you are up to speed it holds a flat, consistent line with a hard fade at the end. On anhyzer it holds the angle for a stretch before gliding out and fighting to finish left, which is useful on wooded courses that need one reliable overstable driver instead of a rotation of options.
It is a good disc for building shot variety shot by shot, since it responds honestly to hyzers, anhyzers, and thumbers alike, but newer players with less arm speed should look at something slower first.
Not throwing a fast arm speed yet? The standard ESP Nuke flies the same shape without the glow charge if you want to try it in daylight first. Want a stiffer plastic that holds up longer? The Titanium Nuke is built for that. See every version in the Nuke collection.
Speed 13, glide 5, turn -1, fade 3. Diameter 21.20 cm, rim width 2.50 cm, max weight 177 g.
