Discraft CryZtal Glo FLX Nuke OS (Ledgestone)
2
The Discraft CryZtal Glo FLX Nuke OS in this Ledgestone Wave 1 stamp is the extra overstable version of the Nuke, built for advanced arms that want the same thick 2.5 cm rim with a sharper, more dependable fade.
Flight Numbers: 13 / 4 / 0 / 4
CryZtal Glo FLX is a soft, glow in the dark blend, translucent like Z but with more flex in the flight plate and a grippy, slightly tacky feel straight out of the package. It picks up light fast and holds a dim glow for a good while after dark, and it beats in a little quicker than a stiffer plastic, softening into an easier release after a season of throwing.
A big arm gets a fast, overstable flight that holds its line at speed and finishes hard on a low speed fade every time, which is what makes it a utility disc more than a distance driver for most bags. On a flex shot it fights the turn the whole way and snaps back to hyzer, and into a headwind it barely notices. This is not a beginner disc, it rewards a fast release and punishes a soft one with a short, weak flight.
Need it to hold up to more power without going soft? The Discraft ESP Nuke OS runs firmer. Want the same overstable fade in Discraft's toughest blend? The Discraft Z Nuke OS barely wears in. See the rest of the Nuke OS lineup.
