Discraft Corey Ellis Metallic Z Zone
2
The Discraft Corey Ellis Metallic Z Zone is a signature run of the most trusted overstable putt and approach disc in the game, cast in Discraft's shimmering Metallic Z blend.
Flight Numbers: 4 / 3 / 0 / 3
Metallic Z is a Z Line variant with a metallic sheen mixed into the blend, just as stiff and durable as standard Z but with a shinier finish that shows off custom stamps well. It holds this disc's overstable fade for a long time and takes torque from forehand releases without turning brittle.
Thrown flat with power it holds a straight line before a forward-penetrating fade closes it out, and on a hyzer it rides that angle down to a short, controlled skip. It is one of the more torque resistant discs you can put in a forehand grip, which is why it works as a go-to chip-shot approach disc, and it handles anhyzer flex shots on both forehand and backhand.
It works as a 250 to 275 foot tee shot in tight, technical spots as much as it works inside the circle.
Want the same disc in a grippier plastic? The ESP Zone is the classic choice. Need it to survive years of forehand abuse? The Titanium Zone holds up the longest. Browse more in the Zone collection.
